How should I prepare for my Hydrafacial™?

We recommend that you discontinue retinol and related products 3 days before your Hydrafacial. You should also avoid any glycolic or other home-based peel for the same amount of time. If you are using these products please speak with our staff for specific guidance several days before your Hydrafacial.

What should I inform my AG Skin Expert of prior to my appointment?

Stop all at home actives 5 days before your Hydrafacial.

Please inform us of any recent Botox, fillers or laser treatments.

Hydrafacial™ can be done 5 days after Botoxor Dysport, 2 weeks after filler. 

Hydrafacial™ should be performed 24 hours before laser treatments or 1 month after. If shaving is necessary, shave no less than 4 hours before the procedure.

Who is not a candidate for Hydrafacial™?

Hydrafacial™ can be good for anyone, unless you are having an active rash, skin infection, sores or sunburned skin. Hydrafacial can be used to treat clients with any skin tone or condition. You can expect to experience fantastic results after just one treatment. However, in order to get optimal results, we recommend a series of treatments monthly.
